The Newcastle Art Prize
The Society of Artists Newcastle has hosted the Newcastle Art Prize for over 30 years (formerly the Newcastle Mattara Art Prize), an exhibition that is open to members and non-members alike.
Entries are now open for the 2023 Newcastle Art Prize exhibition. To be held at the Adamstown Uniting Church Hall from the 28th September to the 2nd October. |

In House and Weekend Exhibitions
Ron (Joe) Donkin Art Gallery
The Society also holds a number of member-only exhibitions during year for members to display and possibly sell their art. Each month the Society holds monthly member only exhibitions in the Ron (Joe) Donkin Gallery room of its workshop in Lambton. Members of the public are welcome to visit when the rooms are open, which is generally each weekday morning from 9:30am to at least 1pm and some days, to 3 or 4pm.
