Lord Howe Island in Paint
August Members' Meeting Demonstration
Bob Saxon recently spent a week plein air painting on Lord Howe Island. With a colourful, loose impressionistic style, Bob was able to capture much more than a photo could using his lightweight oil setup which he also demonstrated.

Tracey Miller - Macro Flowers Workshop
Tracey Miller's Macro Flowers workshop on the weekend was a huge success. Everyone came away with an almost completed acrylic painting of the flower of their choice in large format. They looked very decorative and would be a prominent feature in any home. A great group of members to be with and Tracey was so generous with her expertise. Our Art Director has already discussed having her back next year and she is keen!
2019 Newcastle Plein Air Painters' Festival
